Which Lightweight Double Pushchair Should You Buy?

Tandem
While side-by-side models may be better suited for siblings of the same age tandem pushchairs are light and lightweight, and are a different kind of pushchair with their own appeal. They can accommodate a larger car seat, and some even have reversible seats or an extra carrycot that is located in the middle. They are generally more spacious and easier to access and exit from however their baskets tend to be smaller than those on single buggies. A convertible double buggy is a different option. It starts out as one however, you can add adapters to make it a double. These can include an additional seat or carrycot in front or children can be seated side-byside. Some may have the option of adding a buggyboard, which assists an older child to keep pace with younger siblings or brothers.
